When I’m designing, I think about how the products I develop will become part of the customer’s home. A fun decorative pillow or a soft comforter can create a cozy space that will bring the customer a little extra joy.

I have designed home fashion for nearly 5 years now. I’ve had the opportunity to design many types of products including decorative pillows, table linens, bedding, and bath products. I take the design through the full development process - from initial concept through the final assortment. With a constant eye on the market, I research trend, color palette, and materials and use my research to design collections.

I also have extensive skills in knitted textiles. My experience includes machine knitting as well as hand knitting and crochet. I’ve used several machines including Brother domestic machines, Passap machines, and Stoll and Dubied double bed machines. I also program and knit on Shima machines and I have tutored students on using the Apex3 system.
